(**) Marco Cappelli's very recent recording. Here below a note by Marc Ribot:

Marco Cappelli's new cd, "Les Nuages en France", is what happens when you cross one of europe's best and brightest new music classical guitarists/composers with the best of new york's avant jazz/improv scene.  The sonics recall the lusciousness of Ralph Towner's ECM work, but  the compositional/improvisational smarts and depth of marco's classical chops and background on this recording are unlike  anything I've heard. Also, Marco has developed a longterm working relationship with these musicians, and it shows: after spending 5 years immersing himself in new york jazz/improv/new music, he's no musical tourist, but a confident band leader/composer/guitarist. Really great stuff that deserves to be heard.
